Summer is in full swing here at Baker Brothers Diamonds and we’ve got our eyes set on all things colour with our latest campaign – Summer of Colour.
Yes, it’s true we’re diamond specialists. We hand-pick all of the diamonds used in our jewellery to ensure that they meet the Baker Brothers grade. By going straight to the supplier and cutting out the middleman, we’re able to offer our customers incredible diamonds at amazing prices. That being said, Summer of Colour is all about championing coloured gemstones, specifically those that stand out from your everyday piece of jewellery. It’s about creating a piece that is unique as you are, chosen by you and created by you (more on that later). Whilst many of these pieces are accompanied with the beautiful diamonds we’ve become known for, we’re really focusing on gemstones in a range of colours and cuts that you don’t typically see every day such as a Mexican Fire Opal, a luxurious London Blue Topaz, or even a multi coloured Sapphire piece.
The same passion and expertise used when selecting our diamonds is used when choosing our coloured gemstones too. At Baker Brothers we pride ourselves on the quality and price of our jewellery to ensure all our customers receive the best in both.
One piece that you will no doubt be familiar with from our social media is this stunning dress ring. This 3.31ct octagonal cut teal tourmaline set either side by baguette cut diamonds is mounted in 18ct yellow gold. This piece exemplifies everything we’re trying to showcase this summer - amazing high-quality gemstones that will turn people’s heads.
Concept to creation
In addition to putting a spotlight on the incredible range of jewellery we have; we’re also shining a light on our Bespoke Design Service.
Designing your own jewellery gives you the chance to bring your dream creations to life. Whether that’s repurposing a family heirloom that’s been passed down from generation to generation and needs a new lease of life, a piece you’ve had for some time that you’d like to alter to suit your changing tastes, a completely new dream concept that you’d finally like to turn into a reality or perhaps you’re looking to give that special someone in your life a gift they’ll never forget - It all starts with a conversation with one of our specialists who are eager to help.
After meeting with our one of our specialist team members at our Bedford-based boutique (11-13, St. Peters Street, MK40 2PN) and approving your design specification, we will then give one of our highly skilled goldsmiths the go ahead to begin the creation process. It’s important to note each creation takes a different amount of time to complete depending on the complexity of the design. Once it’s with our goldsmith all you have to do is wait for us to get in touch to tell you it’s ready for collection!
