The wait is over, Rolex have released their new 2019 Baselworld releases and it’s definitely worth taking a look at these astounding new models.
Yachtmaster 42
Rolex has extended its Yachtmaster Range with a new 42mm model. Its innovative bidirectional rotatable bezel is fitted with a 60 minute graduated cerachrom bezel insert in matt black ceramic. Thanks to its chromalight display the Yacht-Master 42 remains visible in the darkest of times which is assisted by the broad hands and hour markers which are filled with a luminescent material which emits a long lasting glow. Let’s forget the stunning Oysterflex bracelet which combines the robustness and reliability of a metal bracelet with the flexibility and comfort of an elastomer strap. The Yacht-Master 42 is also equipped with a new-generation movement the calibre 3235 which is entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. Sea Dweller
This year Rolex brings an Oyster Perpetual Sea Dweller in a yellow Rolesor version. A combination of Oystersteel and 18ct Yellow gold. This is the first time Rolex brings 18ct Yellow gold to the Sea-Dweller range. This new Sea-Dweller is fit with high-technology ceramic; the timepiece is fit with new materials making the watch extremely corrosion-resistant and virtually scratchproof. This watch is an icon of robustness and reliability, the Oyster case of the Sea-Dweller is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 1,220M (4,000 feet). This new version of the Sea-Dweller is also equipped with the calibre 3235, a new generation movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex.

Day-Date 36
Another fantastic release from Rolex – A new generation of its Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36, available in 18ct Yellow, white or everose gold with distinctive new dials and gem-set bezels on some versions. Back in 1956, the Day-Date was a major innovation, it was the first calendar wristwatch to indicate the date and the day of the week spelt out in an intricate arc-shaped window, this was a technical feat at the time. Of the new combinations, two of them feature a novel dial design with a concentric gradient: The first, in 18ct yellow gold, is presented with a green ombré dial and the second in 18ct Everose gold with a brown ombré dial. The Day-Date 36 is also equipped with an Oyster case which is a symbol of waterproofness with a guaranteed waterproof depth of 100M (330 feet). Datejust 36
Rolex has introduced two new variations of the Oyster Perpetual Datejust 36. Both white Rolesor versions. The Rolex Datejust is a true example of timeless style. The watch is an archetype of the classic watch thanks to functions and aesthetics that never go out of fashion. Back in 1945 when it was originally launched, it was the first self-winding waterproof chronometer wristwatch to display the date in a window at 3 o’clock on the dial. There are two new variants of this watch, the first of which features a refined, black sunray-finish dial and fluted bezel, while the second combines a white mother-of-pearl dial with 10 diamond hour markers in 18ct white gold settings and a bezel set with 52 brilliant-cut diamonds. This watch also features a Oyster case with a guaranteed waterproof depth of 100M (330 feet). The new versions of the Datejust 36 are equipped with the calibre 3235.

Datejust 31
Rolex has now introduced two new variants of the Oyster perpetual Datejust 31 – one in a yellow Rolsesor version and the other in an everose Rolesor version. Like the Datejust 36 this watch is a great example of timeless due to the featured aesthetics that have remained popular in fashion since its original release back in 1945. The first watch pairs an olive green, sunray-finish dial with 18ct yellow gold hands and Roman numerals – the VI set with 11 diamonds, while the second features a rosé-colour, sunray finish dial with hands and roman numerals in 18ct pink gold. Along with the Datejust 36 this timepiece features an Oyster case with a guaranteed waterproof depth of 100M (330 feet). The new versions of the Datejust 31 are equipped with the calibre 2236.
