The Tudor Pelagos represents the essence of modern exploration and rugged elegance. Pelagos Blue/Black

The remarkable journey of TUDOR divers' watches commenced in 1954 with the ground-breaking reference 7922. Waterproof up to 100 meters (330 ft), it heralded the birth of a lineage of dive watches. Affordable, durable, dependable, and precise, it epitomized the brand's philosophy of functional timepieces. Over the seven decades that followed, TUDOR divers' watches have consistently evolved, earning accolades from esteemed military navies worldwide with the blue and black dial. These watches are powered by the TUDOR MT5612, providing an impressive power reserve of approximately 70 hours means that its wearer can, for example, take off the watch on Friday evening and put it on again on Monday morning without having to wind it, saving both time and hassle.

The watch offers two straps both the titanium bracelet and rubber strap. The Pelagos is supplied with an entirely satin-brushed titanium bracelet that is equipped with the TUDOR “T-fit” clasp for rapid length adjustment. Easy to use, requiring no tools and offering five positions, this system allows the wearer to carry out a fine, instant adjustment of the total length of the bracelet along an adjustment window of 8 millimetres. The Pelagos also comes with a second strap made of black rubber, with a titanium pin buckle, that attaches to the case with titanium end links, great for those that want some more comfort when going into the depths of the ocean.

The Pelagos 39

Whether you're exploring the depths of the ocean or strolling through city streets, the Pelagos 39 is your ideal companion. The smaller case size offers you both style and substance. Crafted with grade 2 titanium and luminescent ceramic composite monobloc hour markers, this watch showcases TUDOR's exceptional dive watch legacy. With its sleek 39-millimeter case and captivating sunray satin finishes on the bezel and dial, it exudes an undeniable radiance. This incredible timepiece effortlessly blends cutting-edge watchmaking technology with a chic aesthetic, making it perfect for any occasion. 

Featuring the remarkable Manufacture Calibre MT5400, this timepiece has been meticulously crafted with a construction that exudes strength, durability, and unwavering precision. Its variable inertia balance, securely held in place by a sturdy traversing bridge with two points of fixation, guarantees exceptional reliability and accuracy. This watch comes with both the titanium strap and the optional black rubber strap.

The Pelagos LHD

TUDOR embraces its heritage by introducing a "left-handed" version of the Pelagos model. The winding stem is thoughtfully positioned on the left side of the middle case, enabling it to be worn on the right wrist. This adaptation stems from TUDOR's previous creation of similar watches upon the request of diving professionals, including the esteemed French Navy.

Previously, left-handed divers resorted to wearing their watches upside down on their right wrist, limiting their use to elapsed time calculation. With the introduction of the Pelagos LHD (Left Hand Drive), TUDOR now provides a comprehensive collection of technical divers' watches. This release not only caters to the needs of left-handed divers but also sheds light on a lesser-known chapter of TUDOR's product development journey. 

Each model has a unique production number engraved in large Arabic numerals on the case back. This is a first for TUDOR. This model includes beige luminescent markings and a striking red "PELAGOS" inscription at 6 o'clock. The calendar disc features a fresh design, with alternating colours for the numbers: red for even days and black for odd days. This unique watch comes with the TUDOR MT5612-LHD movement and comes in the well-known titanium bracelet and rubber strap.

The Pelagos FXD

From the 1950s when TUDOR introduced one of the earliest professional divers' watches, to the 1980s, the brand has maintained a strong partnership with the French Navy. Now, with the Pelagos FXD model, featuring extra durable fixed strap bars, TUDOR reignites this remarkable historical collaboration. TUDOR's dedication to innovation led to the ongoing evolution of their divers' watches. Among their renowned timepieces, the iconic reference 9401, with its captivating blue dial and bezel, stands tall as the cherished choice of the French Navy today.

Historically, the French Navy had TUDOR watches delivered without bracelets and then fitted them with their own straps, handmade or otherwise. Two notable strap types emerged: black braided nylon, and rarer yet, parachute elastic straps distinguished by their green hue and central thread in yellow or red. The fabric strap of the Pelagos FXD serves as a heartfelt homage to these ultra-functional relics, forever entwined with the legacy of French military divers.

Powering the Pelagos FXD model, the impressive Manufacture Calibre MT5602 showcases hours, minutes, and seconds functions. True to TUDOR's renowned craftsmanship, it boasts a distinctive finish, featuring an openwork and satin-brushed tungsten monobloc rotor adorned with sand-blasted details. The bridges and plate exhibit a captivating blend of sand-blasted, polished surfaces, and laser decorations, exemplifying the exceptional artistry of TUDOR's Manufacture Calibres.

PELAGOS FXD 'ALINGHI RED BULL RACING EDITION'

TUDOR introduces the Pelagos FXD and Pelagos FXD Chrono "Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition" models, celebrating their partnership with Alinghi Red Bull Racing. These watches combine daring design and advanced technology with carbon composite, titanium, and stainless steel cases. The Manufacture Calibres ensure precise timekeeping. The Pelagos FXD "Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition" marks TUDOR's entry into competitive yacht racing, incorporating a high-tech carbon composite, titanium, and stainless steel. It's the first time TUDOR integrates a chronograph Calibre into a fixed strap-bars case.

These Pelagos FXD and Pelagos FXD Chrono models embody TUDOR's fearless and innovative approach, reflecting the shared vision of TUDOR and Alinghi Red Bull Racing. With water resistance and luminescent dials, they feature a blend of carbon, titanium, and stainless steel reminiscent of the AC75 yacht. The watches showcase a 200-meter water-resistant FXD case with fixed strap bars and a bidirectional rotatable bezel. The Pelagos FXD is powered by the Manufacture Calibre MT5602 with a weekend-proof power reserve, while the Pelagos FXD Chrono is powered by the Manufacture Calibre MT5813 with a 70-hour power reserve. These watches demonstrate TUDOR's commitment to quality and durability, combining advanced technology and traditional watchmaking principles.
