TAG Heuer Unveil a New Aquaracer GMT

Introducing the Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT, TAG Heuer’s fresh take on their luxury toolwatch that is designed to go beyond the edge, any place – and any time.
 
A new chapter in the successful Aquaracer story, with a clean, colourful take on the highly sought-after GMT function. TAG Heuer have named the Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT as the ultimate go-anywhere watch. A powerful and versatile design created to cross time zones seamlessly, to enter the depths of the water for divers, and to gracefully surf all over the world.

Fans of the Aquaracer collection will recognise it’s form and shape, steel, bold and confident. What really stands out in this new addition is the blue, white and yellow colour palette. TAG Heuer’s designers carefully selected these colours as representations of the sky, the sun, the water, and the crashing waves near the shore.
 
The characterful, imposing dial, still with its signature horizontal lines, is a deep midnight blue, offset by white lume-filled hands and hour markers. The rhodium-plated central sweep seconds hand has a yellow lacquer tip, and a luminous insert designed to inform divers that the watch is running during a dive.
 
The two-tone bi-directional rotating bezel is cast in a highly scratch and fade resistant ceramic. One half is a deep midnight blue to represent the night-time hours of 6 in the evening to 6 in the morning. Similarly, the brilliant white half of the bezel represents the day-time hours of 6 in the morning to 6 in the evening. The yellow lacquer GMT hand which is tipped with a luminous material makes its way around the dial once every 24 hours and is set via the crown. The end result is a highly legible, stylish GMT watch that looks just as great as it performs.

The iconic 12-sided bezel that ties the Aquaracer family together is still present. As always, every other facet on the bezel is fluted to allow for maximum grip, allowing the wearer to confidently adjust the bezel when needed. Featuring a protected screw-down crown, the 43mm case offers 300m of water resistance.
 
The new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT is available on either a stainless-steel bracelet or on a deep midnight blue rubber strap that matches the dial and bezel. Each variation features TAG Heuer’s ergonomic adjustment system so that the watch can easily be worn over a wetsuit and back again. A full suite of aesthetic details maximise the user experience means the Aquaracer Professional 300 GMT required an ultra-reliable movement as well. Therefore, the 43mm case houses TAG Heuer’s Calibre 7 movement with a 50 hour power reserve which also provides it with it’s date function at 6 o’clock under a ‘Cyclops’ magnifier.
